Clarence Anderson begins on his entrepreneurship path by starting up a dairy and horse farm called “Sunnybrook”, and begins buying and selling horses.
Clarence expands his business by raising hay and selling it to dealers.
Ron Anderson, Clarence’s oldest son, joins the family business. He buys a truck at age 16 and uses it to deliver hay to Seattle customers.
Distribution of Kittitas Valley Timothy Hay and other forage products expands to customers throughout the Pacific Northwest, Southern California, Arizona, British Columbia and other parts of Canada.
Ron is traveling more and continues to expand the customer base to Illinois, Kentucky, New York, Florida, Louisiana, Omaha, Nebraska and Chicago.
